For this first edition, the VIKING CUP will take place in Ile de France at the Ferté Gaucher circuit.
In order to maximise driving time for everyone, a dual-track system has been set up. A COMPETITION track reserved for the VIKING!CUP and a FREE ROLLING track open to all entrants.
For a 100% drifting experience, the two VIKING!CUP tracks will be watered throughout the event: no dry runs are planned!
QUALIFYING
3 runs per driver
1st run: WarmUp, not marked
2 subsequent runs: graded to establish a Top 32
2 subsequent runs: marked to establish a Top 16 (or 8)
FREE RIDING
Drivers who have not qualified may continue to ride on the Free Ride track.
AFFRONTEMENTS
Classic 1-on-1 battle format
Each battle consists of 2 rounds: 1st round → Driver A leads, Driver B follows | 2nd round → Driver B leads, Driver A follows
The player with the highest score moves on to the next round.
Sudden death" format (ghost battle qualification)
The drivers set off for a sudden death qualifier
At each round, the best of the two advances to the next stage
